Working remotely has its perks– cooking a hot meal at home for lunch, wearing pajamas all day, and the removal of commute time. Since the pandemic, working remotely is now a more common activity than ever before. But we all know a change of scenery can help us be more productive or just feel better by getting out of the house. If you’re lucky to find yourself in beautiful Sedona, Arizona surrounded by sunshine and red rocks, here are our favorite places (usually with a view) to hunker down with your laptop and get some work done.
When eating is an important part of your workday, this is the best spot. They serve breakfast all day, and their lunch menu packs everything from sandwiches to soups to noodle bowls. While their outdoor area doesn’t have outlets to plug in, you won’t mind as you enjoy the atmosphere of the garden. But if you need to focus, grab a seat at the bar with a cup of kombucha and you’ll have everything you need.
When you want to work with a view, our favorite spot is Creekside Coffee. Depending on the weather, you can even sit outside and take in the vitamin D. They have a great menu of breakfast and lunch items, and when you wrap up for the day you can do a wine tasting inside the cafe with local winery, Javelina Leap.
While not the largest of spaces, this is one of the best places to visit in the AM with your phone or iPad to sort through emails or browse Instagram. You will drop some $ to eat and drink here, but the juices in particular are well worth the price when you include the great staff and fresh atmosphere.
Pumphouse is a nice spot for brunch, with an outdoor seating option and an upbeat atmosphere. If you’re not in the mood for eggs benedict, there’s a wide variety of pastries and small items you can order from the case, as well as a lunch and dinner menu.
Full of color and light, The Chai Spot is a relaxing place to work and indulge in a cup of chai. Their menu includes hot and iced drinks, as well as vegan options. Enjoy their free wifi and browse beautiful goods handmade by women in Pakistan.
