Whether you're planning a birthday party, wedding shower, bachelor/bachelorette party, or even a new business launch party, Boston is the perfect location to create a unique and memorable event. From our experience planning events in the city, these were a few of our all-time favorite events to plan AND attend:
Private Shopping Event @ Crush Boutique
With locations on Newbury Street and Beacon Hill, the fun and stylish owners of Crush Boutique offer a unique shopping experience to enjoy with friends, family, or even coworkers. Available to be scheduled in the evenings after the store closes to the public, you can throw an intimate shopping party for a special occasion. They provide complimentary wine, hors d’oeuvres, and access to their talented stylists. To make it even more fun for guests, everyone at the party receives 10% off any one item of their choice.
Wine Tasting Class @ Boston Wine School
For an interesting and interactive experience, Boston Wine School (BWS) offers private classes, tastings, and receptions with your choice of theme and food accompaniments. It keeps you from needing to plan any ice breakers or activities as the format of the classes and tastings encourages guests to interact with one another throughout the event. We highly recommend choosing MiddleGray Café to cater your event.
Buyout @ Mei Mei Restaurant
You have probably heard of Mei Mei because of their award-winning food truck. Lucky for us, they have a restaurant too! It's a very cool space that requires little to no decorating and is available for buyouts for up to 40 people seated and 55 people for cocktail receptions. They'll work with you to create a custom menu and even a special cocktail for the night.
Demonstration Class @ EHChocolatier
Enjoying chocolate is something we can all agree on. Tasting some of the best chocolates handmade in the Boston area is even better. You start getting excited just approaching the EHChocolatier kitchen as you are shown the way by the smell of chocolate. It's a fun and informative class where you not only learn how truffles and bonbons are made, you get to taste the results.
Private Cooking Event @ ArtEpicure Cooking School
ArtEpicure Cooking School creates an intimate, learning environment that ends in sharing a dinner everyone worked together to make. The icing on the cake is that the talented chef and owner delivers incredibly delicious recipes for students to create and enjoy. Private events can be booked for small groups up to 12 persons for demonstration dinners or a hands on class.
